I wonder why people keep sending me kudus (see picture). What,
they're sending me kudos? I feel like a fool.
Over the years, I have won many trophies (and ribbons, T-shirts, certificates, and various amounts of money), mostly for bowling. Besides that, my WWW pages have won a few awards. Here they are:
My pages have been awarded the
Britannica Internet Guide Award from
Encyclopedia Britannica: "Britannica.com is contacting you because our
editors have selected your site as one of the best on the Internet when
reviewed for quality, accuracy of content, presentation and usability."
LookSmart (a WWW directory) claims to have
looked at well over a million World Wide Web pages, in their efforts to bring
us the very best of them all! And they have awarded me their "Editor's Choice
Award" for My Checkers Pages.
My Bridge Software Review was awarded the
Links2Go Key Resource
Award.
My Egyptology Pages have won the
Open
Directory Cool Site Award.
My Puzzle Pages have been chosen,
by Learning
in Motion, as one of the top ten educational sites on the WWW (for October
2000).
Triplejump Checkers has voted
My Checkers Pages as their Site of the
Month, for March, 1999.
My Mathematics Pages were described
briefly in the
Math
Forum Internet News No. 5.48 (27 November 2000).
My Mathematics Pages were
listed on ENC
Online's Digital Dozen for Sep. 2003, as one of the most educational sites
on the WWW. ENC is the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse, and is concerned with
science and mathematics education.

lists My Egyptology Pages as one of their
recommended sites.
My
article Various Calendars was selected by
Lightspan's StudyWeb® as "as one of
the best educational resources on the Web." 
My pages were
awarded the ThePosterHouse.com
Star of Excellence. I've reduced their star, on the left.
And last, and
probably least, My Fiction Pages have won the
elegant Krath Spirit
Award, which you see on the left. Not just anyone can win this award. You
have to ask, in order to win it.By the way, I would like to thank all of the little people (the leprechauns) who made these awards possible.
