This is mostly a photographic history of the Soviet space program, translated into English. It is a treat for rocket fans. It emphasizes the various launch vehicles (including their huge N1 moon rocket which failed four times) and their various space craft and space stations. It mostly ignores the individual flights and cosmonauts.
