You may print this and show it to others. But, this article will eventually be part of a book that I am writing. So, please do not distribute it widely.

If you need help reading checkers notation, please print out the numbered board.

This game is found in Kear's Encyclopedia. The diagrammed position is a pleasant surprise.

The diagram shows the position after the capture. Essentially, White can do whatever he wants (within reason), like advance the piece on 32. Soon a Red king will have to go to 25, and White regains the piece.
