1967 Soviet Stamp

This is a magnified picture of the 1967 Soviet Union stamp dedicated to checkers. It is International Draughts (10x10 version of checkers). As a couple of people have told me, the stamp is commemorating the 1967 World Championship. Rich White tells me that I. Koeperman won over A. Andreiko, 23-17. He informs me that Kuperman now lives in Brookline, MA.

There is another checkers (international draughts) stamp, Netherlands I think. I do not have that stamp
