A Concave Mirror

This is a rough model of a concave mirror. I have drawn an upright arrow, and the upside down arrow is its image in the mirror. We could put film at that point, and take a photograph of our arrow. The focal point of our mirror would be at a somewhat different distance, as that would be the image of an object which is out at infinity. Move the upright arrow left or right, by moving the large green dot:
