This is a rough animation of the four Galilean moons of Jupiter: Io (innermost), Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. They were discovered by Galileo, in 1610. Here they seem to go in front of Jupiter from both directions, but that is merely a peculiarity of the Cinderella program. Io makes one orbit, every 1.77 Earth-days. Here Callisto moves in its orbit slightly faster (comparatively) than it does in reality.
