Kempe's Trisector

© Copyright 2003, Jim Loy

It interactively demonstrates the actual trisection of an angle, invented by A. B. Kempe in 1875. Move the bright red dot in order to change the angle. All of the red dots are fixed hinges. This is another method of tripling an angle.

Please enable Java for an interactive construction (with Cinderella).

The above Java interactive demonstration was created with Cinderella (a geometry program).
