I get a lot of phone calls asking me if my windshield is cracked or has a ding in it. These people are not just offering sympathy, they are trying to drum up business. I wish they would advertise in the newspaper, and get off my phone. I figured that all of the windshield repair places were doing this. But maybe some of them don't. So I started writing down which businesses were calling me. Over a short period of time, Montana Auto Glass called me three times, Speedy Auto Glass called me twice, and Diamond Auto Glass called me once. I vow to only do business with companies who don't call me like this. And so, when I have a crack in my windshield, I will certainly not go to Montana Auto Glass.
Apology: Originally, in the above essay, I accidentally typed "Montana Auto Glass Specialist" instead of "Montana Auto Glass." It turns out there is a Montana Auto Glass Specialists in Billings, MT. They aren't the ones who called me. I apologized to Mr. Bonner, the owner of that business, and I hope he hasn't lost business because of my mistake. I guess I typed "Specialist" without thought, because Auto Glass Specialists is where I go for windshield repairs, here in Bozeman.
