Replace the above gif with your own cheesy gif, jpeg, or heading. There is an H2 (H1 is bigger) heading a ways above that, that you can use as a model.
Below, there are two columns.

Go ahead and download this cheesy WWW page, and modify it to
your own tastes. If you have Netscape, you can download this page by pulling down the File menu, and choosing Save As. I assume that Internet Explorer works the same way. You can then save, and edit it on your own computer. Once you have downloaded a copy of this page, the link to the gif (at the top of the page) will not work, as the URL is incomplete. As such, the URL is assumed to be in the same directory as your downloaded HTML file. So, If you want a gif, prepare your own. Your own HTML editor should make it easy to replace the various pieces of this page, with your own pictures and text. Also, change the spacing (column widths, and gap between the columns, for example). See my Computers page for a several articles on HTML and WWW pages. These two columns are done with a table. If you prefer only one column, delete the table. The yellow color was done within the <TD> (table data) tag, for that left column. Once you have turned this page into your own page, be sure that you have removed evidence that it was one of my pages. When you upload your page to your Internet provider's computer, it may have to have a specific name. Contact your Internet provider about where to upload this file, and what to call it. Please let me know, at jimloy@onemain.com, if you have actually used this page as a model for your own page. And, I would appreciate getting some of the credit for your page (maybe "This page was created with the help of Jim Loy," or something like that). |
The two-column table ends just above this sentence.
