Last fall, I was almost run over by a car. I was crossing a one-way street, in a cross-walk. A girl, in a small car, was about to turn onto the one-way street. She was looking to her right, in the direction that traffic would come from. She didn't look left, at me. Seeing no cars coming, she turned onto the one way street. I put my left hand on the hood of her car, and jumped over the left fender, as she screeched to a halt. I walked away, as I didn't want the hassle of calling the police.
