It is well known that Eskimoes (Inuits) have dozens (or even hundreds) of words for "snow." It is also well-documented that this is false, it is a myth. I am sure that they have a few more words for snow than we do. After all, skiers have a few extra words for snow, like powder or popcorn. But the Eskimoes do not have a multitude of names for snow.
