Try the following, and if time travel is possible, you will probably get to experience it.
Place an ad, in the New York Times (or some newspaper that will be around awhile), asking any time traveler to please give you a ride through time. Give the newspaper enough money that they will run the ad forever. Eventually, some time traveler will see the ad, track you down and give you a ride through time. He may see the ad, long after your death, but he is likely to go back in time, to give you that ride.
Don't specify a time and place, in the ad, or every crack-pot in the world will try to get in on the act. Make them take out their own ads.
If you want to play around with paradoxes, then just go back in time and cancel your ad. Be sure and get your money back.
