In this classic puzzle you are asked to start with three equal squares, and making only six cuts, rearrange the pieces into one square. By the way, we can't pile several pieces together, and make several cuts at once. The classic solution is shown above. We cut two of the squares in half, diagonally, and then piece the five pieces together as shown. We then clip off four little triangles to make the final square.
